Kulbhushan Jadhav Case: Pakistan had to pay high price facing India!

The International Court of Justice had ordered Pakistan not to execute Kulbhushan till the final verdict is passed on August 2017.

Kulbhushan Jadhav was sentenced to death by Pakistani military court on charges of espionage and subversive activities. In the International Court India made a victory where Pakistan faced a major defeat. Harish Salve who represented India had charged a fee of Rs 1 whereas Pakistani lawyer Khyber Qureshi charged an amount of Rs 5 crores.

Minister of external affairs, Sushma Swaraj in her tweet said,”The ICJ order has come as a great relief to the family of Kulbhushan Jadhav and people of India.”

According to media reports, despite taking a high fee of Rs 5 crore, Qureshi failed to keep a strong argument on the Kulbhushan case in ICJ, which has raised a lot of fury in Pakistan. At the same time, every plea of Harish Salve was heard by the International Court, not only with the attention but also considering every argument. After the decision of the International Court of Justice, people on Twitter applauded India’s lawyer Harish Salve.

Although Harish Salve is one of the country’s most expensive lawyers, but he has kept only 1 rupee fee for this case. Sushma Swaraj herself gave information on his fees on Twitter.

Not only this, even after the decision of ICJ, Sushma Swaraj thanked Harish Salve, who correctly placed this case before the International Court.
